Laura Alvarado is an Partner at Stone, Glass & Connolly, LLP. Ms. Alvarado concentrates her practice in first-party property defense litigation, with an emphasis in bad faith litigation, fraud investigation, water damage claims, and windstorm coverage issues.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Alvarado was a prosecutor for the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office where she obtained extensive trial experience. As a prosecutor she handled attempted murder cases, traffic homicides, armed robberies, kidnappings, armed burglaries, and other punishable by life offenses.
Ms. Alvarado earned her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2015. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Alvarado was a sergeant in the United States Army.
Ms. Alvarado is fluent in Spanish.
